This is a great recipe for those who want to enjoy a warm latte without the extra caffeine. Whether you are trying to reduce your coffee intake or just don’t want to be wired in the afternoon, this latte is made with Dandy Blend which is a herbal caffeine free coffee substitute. Dandy blend is made with roasted barley extracts, roasted rye extracts, roasted dandelion root extracts, roasted chicory root extracts and roasted sugar beet root extracts. Even though it is made from gluten containing grains, during the processing the gluten is removed, therefore being gluten free. Blended with coconut milk and almond butter making this a creamy latte with the sweetness of honey, cinnamon and vanilla. You can also add medicinal mushroom powder of your choice if desired.
Vanilla Cinnamon Dandy Blend Latte
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 tbsp Dandy Blend tea (herbal caffeine free coffee substitute)
- 1/4 cup full fat canned coconut milk
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tsp true cinnamon
- 1 tsp raw honey
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp medicinal mushroom powder (I use Harmonic Arts 14 mushroom blend)
Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend on high until smooth. Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy!
