Salads are an easy way to pack in extra leafy greens, veggies, fruit, fibre, healthy fats and protein. I love the vibrant colours that can be brought together, the variety of textures and flavours and the nutrient density that salads bring. One of my all time favourite salads is this Spinach Strawberry Sprout Salad with my Maple Balsamic Dressing.
Serve this as a side or a main dish with your choice of protein, grilled chicken, baked salmon, slices steak or chickpeas.
Thanks to the abundance of plant based foods in this salad, you’ll be getting loads of nutrients such as vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K, thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin B6, folate, niacin, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, copper, zinc and manganese.
Sprouts are also a wonderful food for digestion as they are rich in live enzymes that help to aid in the breakdown of your food.

I particularly love eating this salad with my Maple Balsamic Dressing.
